John Mackey leading pitch 4 of Wildcat Ravine

Headed up to Wildcat Ravine on Saturday.  Temps were pretty cold in the higher elevations with all the clothing in our backpacks being worn or used in some fashion.  Wildcat was a ton of fun to climb with about six pitches of ice axe swinging.  Two of the pitches are fun little solos.  We hiked a rib to get to the climbing making for a more aesthetic walk in.  Each pitch is in good shape right now with many different variations on either side.  The last pitch has a amazing hanging pillar to the left of the main falls and to the right in the yellow ice is a nice looking WI 2-3 slab climb into the woods.  Get out and get it while you can, the days are getting longer.
